This course is designed to teach individuals how to respond to traumatic bleeding emergencies. Participants learn hands-on techniques such as applying pressure to a wound, using tourniquets, and packing wounds to control bleeding. The training includes realistic scenarios and simulations, allowing participants to practice these skills in a controlled environment. This hands-on approach helps build confidence and ensures that individuals are prepared to act quickly and effectively in a real-life situation. It is suitable for everyone, from everyday citizens to healthcare workers, and emphasizes the importance of acting swiftly to save lives before medical professionals arrive. As an added bonus, a few IFAKs (Individual First Aid Kits) will be raffled off at no cost to participants, providing essential tools to further enhance their preparedness.

***One child, ages 13-17, may attend with a paying adult. School ID verification is required for the child.***

Refunds will NOT be issued if the student can not make class.  If you can not attend the class you are signed up for, please notify us immediately.  The student will be given credit to attend another class (upon availability) of your choice.  Students who do not show up to class WITHOUT prior notice will NOT be issued a refund or credit to another class.

Requirements:

  • Absolutely NO firearms, weapons, or knives allowed!!!

  • Wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting bloody.

  • Wear comfortable shoes.

  • If you have a trauma kit you are encouraged to bring it for familiarization.

  • Bring note-taking material.
